You know THRASHED OUT? The album I’ve been talking about for like 2 years now? It’s done and coming very soon, I promise. Until then, I will be releasing bits of media to get you in the mood. On Monday I’ll share Vol. 1 of a mix of songs that inspired #THRASHEDOUT. I curated a list of roughly 60 songs and @dxsko worked out a very interesting mix to say the least.

Graduation Day in a nutshell. Thank you to my friends and family who’ve been nothing but supportive over the past three years. I love you all. Thank you to my thesis advisor Dr. Anna Leahy. Farewell Chapman! I walked away with an M.A. in English, an M.F.A. In Creative Writing, papers on Hip-Hop, a poetry manuscript, tons of writing experience and some new genuine friends. Glory be to the Most High.

This DVD changed my life. I only bought it because I was a Def Jux fan; little did I know that it came with a bonus disc that would help me easily transition from recording raps on cassette tapes to recording on my Toshiba laptop. I might have never continued on this path if it weren’t for umixit. Forever grateful to El-P, @murs316, Aesop Rock and RJD2 ( the artists that made me want to cop this from Mad Platter in Riverside, CA circa 2005).
